In this type of engagement, I am more deeply involved in the business on a day-to-day basis. I become an integrated part of the team, whether leading customer acquisition, building a retention program, or managing certain channels. At some point, I will likely hire my replacement, because once we have achieved a meaningful level of growth, your company will need the role to be a full-time one. In the interim, which can last anywhere from 6 to 24 months, I am heading up a significant area of growth for the business. Because of the nature of these engagements, I can only take on one or two clients at any given time.
In this role, I am a trusted advisor, strategically and tactically, to a senior marketer in the organization (Founder/CEO/CMO) as well as to the broader team. To be clear, advisor doesn’t mean generating ideas that aren’t helpful or that no one can execute. Everything I focus on is action and results-focused. Imagine having an operational Board member or CMO-type support. In fact, I have worked with organizations that already have those roles and needed the added domain expertise I provide. While the direct time commitment is less than an Intensive engagement, you will still benefit from my years of experience and extensive network.
