| The last few days of the trip went by very quickly. We zipped through Massachusetts and dipped into Connecticut before ending our trip at Plymouth Rock. |  Babak collecting a sample of the Atlantic Ocean | On the first day of our trip Babak collected a sample of the Pacific Ocean in a small shampoo bottle which he managed to carry with him intact across America. After completing the trip, Babak now collects a sample of the Atlantic Ocean. |
 | Filled with energy and excitement we biked 76 miles straight with out stopping until we reached Plymouth Rock. At Plymouth we met some friends and treated ourselves to a nice dinner at a restaurant. None of the hotels had any vacancy, but the Sheraton Inn let us stay in the conference room. |
| The next day, babak and I went off in different directions. He biked up to Boston to start his senior year at MIT, and I biked to Providence - home of my alma mater - Brown University. |  Babak looking into the Atlantic |
