| Farms and Farm DogsWe entered Iowa July 12 at the end of our four state day which started in Kansas. We were immediately chased by several farm dogs which reside on the many farms that spot the side of the roads. The sun had begun to set giving the sky a beautiful orange/red color. |
CornThe scenery in Iowa consisted of farms, farm dogs, and huge stocks of corn. We spent most of our time being chased by farm dogs. |

| The Windiest Road in AmericaIn Burlington we met Bill and Kay Peryy who gave us a place to stay and lead us to the windiest road in America. With 7 hair-pin turns in one city block, this road is just as windy as the one in San Francisco. |
