| The first State Line!June 16, 1994 Ten days after we started we crossed the state border leaving Oregon and entering our second state: Idaho. We also entered Mountain Standard Time. | ||
| After getting past the cows blocking our path outside of Baker City (Oregon) we followed the Snake River until we hit Idaho. |

| After leaving New Meadows we faced a tough 30 miles of head winds along the Salmon River and then we hit White Bird Hill. A few kids called us nuts to try and bike it. It took us 2.5 hours to bike 11 miles - about a 4,000 ft. climb. We saw one truck that had overheated and one family video taped us as they passed us in their car. |
| Idaho is full of many beautiful rivers. Every where we went we saw people fly fishing. |
